I just got a cresent moon tattoo’d on my ring finger symboling the night. It’s inspired by Lady Gagas song “Marry The Night”. It’s about accepting that you don’t always win battles of life, but you still should never give up. It’s a reminder that I vow to put what I love and my dreams before anything and anyone. You may think I’m crazy for getting a tattoo symbolising lyrics to a pop stars song permanently inked on my body, but to me, Gaga is more than just a pop sensation dressed in extravagant outfits. Lady Gaga has made me strong. She inspires me to stand tall and to fight for my dreams. To believe in myself even at my lowest points and bad experiences in the past. She is part of the reason that I am still alive today, I admire her so much. This tattoo is reminding me to always be who I am and not let anything stand in the way of what I want to do. I’d only ever get a tattoo if it meant something to me, and Lady Gaga has been such a big Factor for me in my life, she deserves a place on my body dedicated to her. And to those who are saying “she’s going to regret that when she’s older” I won’t, because ill look back to the 16 year old girl that I am today and be reminded of the woman who has helped me through so much without even knowing it.
